Rotterdam

Named after the birthplace of Holland America Line, Rotterdam showcases the art of shipbuilding, combining classic elements and modern technologies. Offering 10 decks, the ship comfortably carries 1,316 passengers. Onboard, you'll find antiques and Dutch art from the 17th and 18th centuries and grand venues for dancing, sunning, socializing, playing, and shopping.

From stem to stern, the ship is embellished with over a million dollars worth of specially commissioned art. Spacious, sunlit rooms are filled with elegant furnishings, and grand bouquets are everywhere. There are also activities for the young hosted by the ship's youth coordinator, and activities for the young at heart including award-winning musical revues, current movies (with free popcorn), dancing, and dazzling casino action. On a Holland America cruise, every meal is a celebration, whether it's taken alfresco in the renowned Lido, with its sparkling pool on one side and the ocean all around, or in the elegant dining room. Dining options--from a juicy filet mignon to Light and Healthy entrees--are plentiful. The Chocolate Extravaganza features sinfully delicious desserts.
